They support children’s wellbeing, and development in the context of an approved learning framework. Educators use a range of well-developed skills and knowledge using discretion and judgment when carrying out their work in the context of established policies and procedures. They may work independently or under the guidance of others, though in some contexts that guidance may not be on-site.

Early childhood educators work in long day care centres, family day care, pre-schools or kindergartens.

The tuition fee for this course may be paid in four (4) instalments in set due dates. The first instalment includes part of the tuition fee, material fee, and enrolment fee and it must be paid prior to enrolment. The Materials Fee will be payable every term before the start of the term.

 

All payments may be made by Bank Transfer to the nominated account or by cash.

Fifteen (15) core units and two (2) elective units are required for the award of the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.
